Software Engineer - Test Infrastructure

Work with design teams to determine appropriate simulations to validate system of system, system, and feature requirements.
Support the design team to develop a virtual verification environment which emulates components interfacing with the embedded software.
Drive efficiency through abstraction, automation, and reuse of simulation components.
Document new processes and best practices to drive commonality and reuse.
What Skills You Need
Academic and/or Professional experience in MATLAB/Simulink simulation and model-based software skills
Academic and/or Professional experience with C, C#, python, or equivalent
Strong interpersonal communication skills with ability to lead conversations and collaboration
Strong, demonstrated problem solving skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks developing new features and handling support requests
Ability and experience working in a self-directed mode
Experience with creating automated, deployable solutions (Continuous Integration)
Ability to technically mentor and train other team members
What Makes You Stand Out
Experience with controls development
Experience with mechanical/electrical/hydraulic systems
Ability to interpret and create or maintain electrical schematics
Experience implementing simulation infrastructure on various hardware platforms including Amazon (AWS), local clusters, or dedicated desktops or HIL units
Product design experience in the Agriculture, Construction, Forestry, and/or Off-road equipment industries
Experience with the implementation or debugging of J1939 CAN protocol
Sense of ownership, curiosity, and ability to function in a fast paced, collaborative team environment that is distributed across various time zones and locations
Advanced degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Controls Engineering or equivalent
Professional engineering experience

Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent degree in a related technology field or discipline.
