Senior Trainer

Essential Functions
Develops, implements and directs training programs, activities and their schedules for annuity administration; evaluates program effectiveness; and develops and maintains resources and materials.
Monitors employee progress, makes suggestions for improvement, and provides formal recommendations. Uses trainee progress to help identify improvements for training and development programs and materials.
Maintains the department’s knowledge-base of systems, including PolicyLink, LEAP, RPS, and BPM.
Demonstrates the responsibility for procedures and technology that are implemented within annuity administration, including new hire training as well as regular and routine maintenance training.
Recommends improvements to processes, resources or training and provides input, as needed.
Conducts regular and routine audits and quality assurance as well as tracking, recording and reporting progress to ensure the quality of performance and that evaluations and feedbacks are consistent, timely and relevant; and identifies and discusses strengths and opportunities with employees individually.
Provides regular reports for managers on employee and trainee progress, and gauges employee progress and comprehension of material. Provides regular reports for leadership on the progress during special schools/programs, as needed.
Coordinates trainings with other business areas, as needed, and provides support for training events such as conferences and training seminars.
Maintains procedures for all new products, changes, processes, etc.


Education
High school diploma or a GED.
Three years of experience, including a combination of subject matter-related experience and training or development experience.
