Key Responsibilities
Convert the Network and Security architecture to Infrastructure as Code
Implementation of set of tools and services for the secure development lifecycle
Work closely with the Development teams to facilitate infrastructure and application deployment
Ensure Infrastructure complies with configuration and security standards through automation
Ensure systems and applications have sufficient and actionable monitoring
Continuously explore new technologies that make automation, scaling and monitoring a reality
Contribute to a Cloud Practice which facilitates Cloud-as-a-Service to other parts of the business
Continually develop and maintain an expert understanding of systems and services and their interaction with the business
Responsible for actively participating in performance development process to ensure knowledge and skills remain current and relevant for role.
Skills and experience
2+ years of OT experience with expertise in Enterprise Cloud Infrastructure.
An Experienced DevOps and/or DevSecOps engineer
Be at ease with the culture that is informal, friendly, open, and passionate.
Strong leadership qualities with a proven ability to help influence a team to success.
Previous experience within a Cloud/DevOps team.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft server and cloud technologies.
Solid experience in building resilient, scalable, and secure systems.
Strong experience with automation technologies including Terraform.
Solid ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues, often under pressure with tight deadlines.
Be an innovative and positive team player who is prepared to challenge the status quo, having a can do' attitude.
The ability to form strong, mutual, and professional business relationships with internal business users, external partners, and suppliers.
Experience of managing and prioritising workloads.
High Integrity - can and does deliver what they say they will.
Proven ability to understand support and business needs and translate these to a working solution.
Preferably a relevant industry recognised certification or demonstrable industry experience.
