Technology Associate

SUMMARY: 
Provide assistance and support for technology users in the district. The successful candidate will be required to support education professionals, students and staff. The support will include, but is not limited to, gathering information needed for troubleshooting, utilizing problem solving skills to find a solution, implementation of fixes, provide proper documentation and communication to the client. The Technician is required to work with a self-directed and service-oriented attitude. The Technician will be able to execute small projects on his/her own and work with the District Network Specialist in planning and executing larger projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide Help desk support
Install, repair and maintain technical equipment hardware and software
Basic networking skills, wiring, switch work and wireless
Have knowledge or ability to pick up software skills easily
Basic coding understanding
Willing to learn new technologies
Other duties as assigned


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Work up to 20 hours per week
Wage is up to $17.50/hour
