PC Support Technician

An employee in this classification may perform any of the following duties. However, these examples do not include all the specific tasks which an employee may be expected to perform.
Support users with Windows, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other systems within the enterprise environment.
Install, support, and maintain devices such as IT provided desktops, laptops, Chromebooks, mobile phones, monitors, battery backups, printers, copiers, wireless access points, and TVs.
Maintain accurate and complete documentation of desktop calls, fixes, and needed follow-up. Respond to and document requests in a timely manner via phone, email, help desk ticket, and in person; ensure resolution through follow-up.
Create and update PowerShell scripts to automate tasks such as printer setup.
Escalate issues as needed while remaining an advocate for end users to ensure issues are addressed.
Follow documented procedures and update as needed.
Participate in development and improvement of standards and processes.
Promote security at all times.
Work as part of a team as well as independently.
Perform related duties as required.


Education, Experience and Training
Graduation from high school. Two years of experience working with hardware and software in an enterprise environment or any equivalent combination of experience, education and training. Microsoft environments preferred.
