Network Infrastructure Operations Engineer Intermediate

Physically installs, configures, upgrades, repairs and performs maintenance on network, IP telephony, and ancillary equipment and systems supporting the network.
Utilizes standard procedures and methods to complete projects and work orders as assigned.
Pulls, terminates and tests copper cabling and fiber optics.
Determine equipment and material requirements; Order and track.
Performs network device and system upgrades and patches.
Participates in Change Advisory Board meetings as required for their maintenance activities.
Participates in larger Tier 3 upgrades and updates.
Verifies normal service after all scheduled repairs or upgrades.
NIOE’s are the on-site presence for all telephony and network repair activity.
Responds and take ownership of network incidents and tickets as assigned.
Troubleshoot and diagnose errors in equipment.
Utilize network management tools, procedures and methods to repair network equipment and systems.
