The Med Records Tech and How You WILL Make a Difference The Medical Records Tech collects and organizes client medical records. The Tech also reviews medical records for accuracy and completeness and provides assistance to clients and outside agencies regarding medical record inquires.
Additionally: Maintains medical records operations by following policies and procedures Reviews medical record documents for accuracy by reviewing information on paper documents and notifying departments of deficiencies prior to scanning into chart Provides medical record information by answering questions and requests of patients, employees, law firms, insurance companies, and government agencies Maintains client confidentiality and follows all privacy policies and procedures. Follows release-of-information protocols. Delivers assigned materials to Valley locations as required Processes and delivers mail to post office as required Manages equipment and resources efficiently To hear Valley staff and client stories Click Here!
Qualifications include: High School Diploma or equivalent 2+ years of customer service experience 1 year of medical records experience (Preferred)
