IT Specialist (Systems Analysis)

Duties
Conducts studies and tests for the purpose of evaluating the system, hardware, and software to ensure that the most efficient procedures, systems, methods, and machines have been selected for the specific segment of operation.
Develops application systems design and systems requirements specifications for the implementation of appropriate agency managed care systems and their interaction with related systems which cross-organizational lines.
Performs the systems analysis, planning, problem definition, and formulation required for the accomplishment of the objectives set down for the assignment.
Prepares documentation of complex systems and processes in assigned area of responsibility. Includes preparing reports on system development lifecycle phases and general descriptions of the system and requirements.
