What the IT Network/Desktop Support Technician Does
Support of desktop/laptops/network infrastructure
Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the organization in support issues as reported by those stakeholders relating to laptop/desktop and network infrastructure.
Provide network and desktop support to current and new employees ensure equipment assigned to staff is functioning to meet the needs of the organization.
Remove infrastructure access to systems upon employee termination to ensure the security of the organizations data assets.
Implement and configure procured software.
Support the printing needs of the organization including ensuring printed data is sufficiently secured.

Preferred Qualifications:
Working experience in technology support
Certifications of:
MCP – Microsoft Certified Professional
MCSE – Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert
Comparable certifications in network security and/or engineering
