Computer Systems Specialist

Position Overview
The Computer Systems Specialist works as part of an ambitious team to develop, maintain, and innovate technology at Shelton School. This includes hardware selection, acquisition, and maintenance, network security and maintenance, and day-to-day end user assistance. The Technology department is a fun and fast paced environment comprised of individuals with a passion for supporting end users with varied skill sets.

Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Computer Science or a related field.
Advanced knowledge of macOS and a working knowledge of Windows 10.
Working knowledge of networking, mobile device management (e.g. JAMF), and scripting languages such as Python.
Commitment to the mission and vision of the organization; an inquisitive mindset and ability to assess and initiate things independently.
Ability to manage multiple functions, activities, and projects; prioritize duties to ensure timely completion
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both verbal and written, to communicate effectively with all constituents in a school environment.
