Application Support Specialist

 Responsibilities
Provide training, support, and documentation for asset authoring, test building, and item banking tools, and platforms
Support the management of the training documentation repository, updating documentation as new functionality for tools and platforms are released
Work with cross-functional teams to provide troubleshooting and solutions
Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement tools and processes to support continuous improvement
Work with asset development teams to identify opportunities to create efficient solutions for data-related tasks
Support the standardization, monitoring, and review of item bank metadata
Support teams in conducting item bank inventories and other item bank management tasks

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in education, content-specific area, or equivalent degree required
At least five years’ experience as an elementary or secondary teacher recommended
Outstanding oral and written communication skills required
Some experience in large-scale educational measurement preferred
General knowledge of the phases of the development, processing, scoring, and reporting of large-scale assessments required
Ability to identify problems and provide solutions to a variety of audiences required
Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills, and ability to coordinate multiple activities and adapt to unexpected events required
Broad knowledge and experience with technology applications
Intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge required, VBA knowledge a plus
